Thoughts Of A Cat
Junipurr has an avid mind. A monkey mind, one might even say. Even while asleep, her tail whips rapidly from side-to-side, her whiskers twirl like a gymnast’s batons, and her penny-sized little mouth chatters out entire TED talks. And when awake? Her entire face telegraphs THOUGHT! Here’s a sampling of what’s been on her mind just this past week …
Just finished a rap battle with the neighborhood woodpecker. He thought he was the only one who could do rapid staccato. HA! I showed him! Cats can do anything.
‘Tis true, I am a Transformer. When I run and hide under the sofa, I evolve from loaf to pancake.
Today I saw a chocolate-ganache colored butterfly with butter-yellow fringes, and I chattered out loud: I wonder if it tastes like chicken? #StayHungry
The ultimate purpose of yoga is for the parents to create tunnels that I can walk through and rub, obvi.
My tummy is in a chicken or turkey state of mind 😸
Just because I have juicy chicken bits on my whiskers does NOT mean you just fed me! I demand more food! I mean food!
The neighbor's darn free-roaming cat just wandered into MY patio again, and I have had it! My tail is bigger than a red panda's and my hiss more deafening than a lion’s roar. I am the purrsonification of RAGE!
Humans think they struggle with scarcity mentality. Puh-lease! I've never missed a meal in my life, have two dedicated staff, am showered with song and treats, and I still wail in genuine sorrow every night before dinnertime, certain my good fortune has come to an end.
I don't get why some cats don't like wearing a harness. Don't they realize it's a warrior cape? Mine brings out the ferocity in my eyes.
I didn't like the three-decibel sound outside of the door just now, so I sent my mom to the frontlines to look. Like a guard dog, but human.
Not that I'd allow humans to use it, but I probably generate a lot of electricity when I poof up. Feline energy definitely sounds more powerful than solar and wind turbine energy 😼
Not to sound like a Capital One commercial, but what’s in your cat’s mind? Let me know in the comments below!
